SaaS Development

Multi-tenant products with accounts, billing and permissions that hold up after the first hundred customers.

MeetOnChai Studio builds SaaS products for founders and businesses who need more than an app: accounts, teams, roles, subscription billing and an admin side to run it all. We design the tenancy model and billing logic before the features, because those are the parts that are hardest to change later. An MVP usually takes 4-8 weeks, a fuller product 2-4 months.

What we deliver

What's in the box.

  • Multi-tenant architecture with organisations, teams, roles and permissions
  • Subscription billing: plans, trials, upgrades, downgrades and failed-payment handling
  • Customer onboarding flows and an internal admin dashboard to support users
  • Usage tracking, audit logs and email notifications wired in from the start
  • Hosting, monitoring and deployment pipelines set up so you can ship weekly

Tenancy is the decision you'll live with longest

Every SaaS product makes an early call about how customer data is separated, usually without noticing. A table of users with a company name column works for the demo. Then a customer asks to invite their team, another wants two workspaces, and a third wants their data deleted completely. Suddenly the shortcut is in every query.

We work out the shape up front: organisations, memberships, roles and how data is scoped to each. It's a few days of thinking that saves months of migrations, and it makes things like per-team permissions and clean data exports straightforward later.

Billing is product logic, not a payment button

Adding a checkout is easy. Running subscriptions is not. Trials end, cards expire, customers upgrade mid-month, someone wants an invoice with their tax number on it. If the product doesn't know what plan a customer is on and what that plan allows, those cases turn into manual work for you.

So we treat billing as part of the core: plans and limits live in the data model, payment provider webhooks keep subscription state in sync, and failed payments follow a clear path instead of silently locking people out. For customers in India or Nepal we plan local payment methods alongside international cards from the start.

The first version should earn money, not impress

A SaaS product proves itself when someone pays for it. The fastest way there is a narrow first version: sign up, do the one thing that's worth paying for, subscribe. Dashboards, integrations and theme settings can wait until customers ask for them.

We push hard on that scope, sometimes harder than founders expect. It's not about doing less work. It's about finding out sooner which work matters, while there's still budget to act on what you learn.

Process

How saas development runs with us.

  1. 01

We settle the tenancy model first

Who owns the data: a user, a team or an organisation? Can one person belong to several? That answer shapes every table, so we agree it before any screens.

  2. 02

We wire billing into the core, not on top

Plans, limits and what happens when a card fails are product decisions. We build them into the data model early so pricing changes don't need a rewrite.

  3. 03

We ship the smallest paid version

Sign up, do the one valuable thing, pay. We get that loop live with real users before building the settings pages nobody has asked for yet.

  4. 04

We hand over an admin you can run

Refunds, account lookups, plan changes. Your support work shouldn't need a developer, so the internal tools ship with the product.

FAQ

SaaS Development questions.

How long does web app development take?

MVPs typically take 4-8 weeks. Full products range from 2-4 months. We break projects into sprints and deliver working features every 2 weeks, so you see progress continuously.

Do you offer MVP development for startups?

We love working with both! Startups get our MVP expertise and speed. Established companies get scalable solutions and integration with existing systems. We adapt our approach based on your stage.

Which tech stack do you use for web and mobile development?

We primarily use Next.js, React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, and leading AI frameworks. But we choose tech based on your needs, not our preferences. If your existing stack works, we'll work within it.

How much does custom software development cost?

We offer both fixed-price projects (best for well-defined MVPs) and time & materials (better for evolving products). After our discovery call, we'll recommend the model that fits your situation and provide a detailed quote.
