Hire React Developers

React developers who build interfaces your users find obvious and your team finds easy to change.

MeetOnChai Studio gives you React developers who care about the parts users touch: state that behaves, forms that validate, and components your next hire can read. They join your standups from Kathmandu, work in your repo and fit into your existing frontend. Our team also maintains ok.css, an open source styling library, so component design is something we think about daily.

  • Interview before you commitYou meet the developer and decide before any work starts.
  • You own the codeWork happens in your repository from day one. Code, designs and accounts are yours.
  • NDA before detailsWe sign your NDA, or ours, before you share anything sensitive.
  • Your hours, not oursOverlap with India, the Gulf and Europe is easy from GMT+5:45, and we flex for US mornings.

On your project

What they'll own.

  1. 01Turn Figma designs into accessible, responsive components that match the design without pixel guessing
  2. 02Structure state so server data, form data and UI state each live in the right place
  3. 03Build and document reusable components so your product stays consistent as it grows
  4. 04Integrate with your REST or GraphQL APIs and handle loading, error and empty states properly
  5. 05Profile slow screens and fix needless re-renders and oversized bundles
  6. 06Write tests for the flows that break most often and demo finished work every week

Right role?

When this is the hire you need.

  1. 01

    Logged-in apps and dashboards

Admin panels, SaaS frontends and internal tools where SEO does not matter but interaction quality does. A focused React developer fits better than a framework specialist.

  2. 02

Building or cleaning up a design system

If your UI has drifted into five button styles, a React developer who thinks in components can consolidate it without stalling feature work.

  3. 03

Choose Next.js instead for public pages

If the pages need to rank on Google or load fast for first-time visitors, hire a Next.js developer. Same React skills, plus server rendering.

How hiring works

From chai call to first commit.

  1. Step 1

    Chai call

We talk about your product, stack, team and what the developer needs to own.

  2. Step 2

    Profiles

You see matched profiles with relevant work, not a stack of CVs.

  3. Step 3

    Interview

You interview the developer and decide. Nothing starts until you're sure.

  4. Step 4

    Start

NDA signed, access set up, work happens in your repo. Weekly demos from then on.

Engagement models

Hire one developer, a pod, or a project.

Pick the one that matches how certain you are about scope. We'll recommend one on the first call, and you can switch later.

  • Well-defined MVPs, stores and websites

    Fixed-scope project

We agree the scope, the price and the milestones up front. You pay per milestone, and scope changes are quoted before they happen, never after.

    • Fixed price per milestone
    • Written scope with what's in and out
    • Best when you know what v1 is
  • Ongoing products and growing startups

    Dedicated developer or team

One developer or a small pod works on your product full time, inside your tools and rituals. You set priorities; we handle the people, reviews and quality.

    • Monthly engagement
    • Your backlog, your sprint rituals
    • Scale up or down with notice
  • Evolving products and discovery work

    Time & materials

You pay for the hours actually spent, tracked against a sprint budget. Good when the problem is still being shaped and flexibility matters more than a fixed number.

    • Sprint budgets, not blank cheques
    • Weekly time reports
    • Change direction any sprint

FAQ

Hiring react developers: questions.

Can a React developer work on our legacy class-component codebase?

Yes. They will keep it running and convert components to hooks gradually where it helps, not in one risky rewrite. Plenty of production apps still mix both, and that is fine.

Do your React developers also design?

They have a strong eye for UI and can work from a rough wireframe, but they are developers. If you need full product design, we can add a designer to the team.

Which state management library will they use?

Whatever fits. Most apps need TanStack Query for server data and plain React state for the rest. Redux or Zustand comes in only when the app genuinely needs shared client state.

Can they build a component library we reuse across products?

Yes. They can set up a shared package with Storybook, design tokens and docs, so every product team pulls from the same source instead of copying components around.

What is the difference between hiring a React and a Next.js developer?

A Next.js developer is a React developer who also knows server rendering, routing and caching in that framework. For a public site, pick Next.js. For a logged-in app, React alone is often enough.
