Hire Full-Stack Developers

One developer who can take a feature from database table to deployed screen.

MeetOnChai Studio places full-stack TypeScript developers who own a feature end to end: the schema, the API, the interface and the deploy. That cuts the handoffs that slow small teams down. They work from Kathmandu in your hours, in your repo, and you interview them before anything is agreed.

  • Interview before you commitYou meet the developer and decide before any work starts.
  • You own the codeWork happens in your repository from day one. Code, designs and accounts are yours.
  • NDA before detailsWe sign your NDA, or ours, before you share anything sensitive.
  • Your hours, not oursOverlap with India, the Gulf and Europe is easy from GMT+5:45, and we flex for US mornings.

  • React and Next.js
  • Node.js APIs
  • PostgreSQL and data modeling
  • Prisma or Drizzle
  • Tailwind CSS

  • Background jobs and cron

Practices

  • End-to-end type safety
  • Feature flags and safe rollouts
  • Unit, integration and Playwright tests

On your project

What they'll own.

  1. 01Take a feature from rough idea to production, covering schema, API, UI and deploy
  2. 02Share types between frontend and backend so a change in one place cannot silently break the other
  3. 03Build admin panels and internal tools your team uses every day
  4. 04Set up auth, roles and permissions that match how your business actually works
  5. 05Keep CI, previews and deployments running so shipping stays routine
  6. 06Flag product questions early and demo shipped features every week

Right role?

When this is the hire you need.

  1. 01

    Early-stage products and MVPs

When you have one or two engineers, a full-stack developer removes handoffs. One person can ship a whole feature in the time two specialists spend coordinating.

  2. 02

    Internal tools and admin systems

CRUD-heavy apps with moderate scale are where full-stack developers shine. They rarely need deep specialist knowledge on either side.

  3. 03

    Specialists win at scale

If you have a demanding frontend or a complex backend, hire a React or Node.js specialist for that layer. Full-stack means broad, and sometimes you need deep.

How hiring works

From chai call to first commit.

  1. Step 1

    Chai call

We talk about your product, stack, team and what the developer needs to own.

  2. Step 2

    Profiles

You see matched profiles with relevant work, not a stack of CVs.

  3. Step 3

    Interview

You interview the developer and decide. Nothing starts until you're sure.

  4. Step 4

    Start

NDA signed, access set up, work happens in your repo. Weekly demos from then on.

Engagement models

Hire one developer, a pod, or a project.

Pick the one that matches how certain you are about scope. We'll recommend one on the first call, and you can switch later.

  • Well-defined MVPs, stores and websites

    Fixed-scope project

We agree the scope, the price and the milestones up front. You pay per milestone, and scope changes are quoted before they happen, never after.

    • Fixed price per milestone
    • Written scope with what's in and out
    • Best when you know what v1 is
  • Ongoing products and growing startups

    Dedicated developer or team

One developer or a small pod works on your product full time, inside your tools and rituals. You set priorities; we handle the people, reviews and quality.

    • Monthly engagement
    • Your backlog, your sprint rituals
    • Scale up or down with notice
  • Evolving products and discovery work

    Time & materials

You pay for the hours actually spent, tracked against a sprint budget. Good when the problem is still being shaped and flexibility matters more than a fixed number.

    • Sprint budgets, not blank cheques
    • Weekly time reports
    • Change direction any sprint

FAQ

Hiring full-stack developers: questions.

Is a full-stack developer really strong on both sides?

Ours are strong across the TypeScript stack, and most lean slightly toward one side. We tell you which during the interview so you can match them to the work you actually have.

Can one full-stack developer build our whole MVP?

Often, yes, if the scope is focused. For a product with mobile apps, complex design or AI features, we would suggest a small team so one person is not the bottleneck.

Do they work outside TypeScript?

Our full-stack developers are TypeScript first. If your backend is in Python, Go or PHP, tell us upfront and we will be honest about whether we have the right person.

Can they take over a half-built product?

Yes. They will get it running, map what exists and what is broken, then give you a short list of what to fix before building more. No rewrite unless the code really calls for one.

How do they decide what to build first?

They work from your priorities, but they will push back when something looks expensive for little value. Expect questions about who uses a feature and why before they start on it.
