Web App Development

MeetOnChai Studio builds web apps for startups and businesses that need something faster and more reliable than a template site, from a marketing landing page to a full SaaS platform. Our web app development covers the frontend, backend, and everything that keeps a site up when real users show up, not just a demo. Projects typically ship in 2-4 months for a full product, 4-8 weeks for an MVP.

The data model is the part you can't cheaply change later

Screens are easy to move. Buttons are easy to move. The shape of your data is not, once real customers have real records in it, changing that structure means a migration, and migrations are where weekends go.

So we spend the first stretch on what you're actually storing and how those things relate. Does an order belong to a customer or a household? Can a product exist in two categories? Do you need history, or only the current state? These sound like small questions during a kickoff call and turn into architecture six months in. Getting them right early is the cheapest work in the entire project.

"It works on my machine" is not a launch plan

An app that's fine with five people using it can fall over with five hundred, and the failure is rarely graceful. It's a checkout page timing out during your biggest sales day. The frustrating part is that this is predictable. You usually know when the traffic is coming: a campaign, a season, a launch, a feature on someone else's platform.

We test against that number before you go live, not after. That means finding the slow query, the missing index, the endpoint doing work it should have cached, while there's still time to fix them calmly. MangoMasti went into mango season on this basis and handled its busiest period without incident.

Launch day should be boring

The goal is that going live is uneventful. That takes three things in place beforehand: monitoring so you find out from a dashboard rather than a customer, a rollback path so a bad deploy is a two-minute problem, and environment separation so nobody is testing against real user data.

None of this is exotic. It's just work that's easy to defer when the deadline is close, and painful to add once you're already live and afraid to touch anything.

What's Included in Web App Development

Full-stack web apps: frontend, backend, database, and hosting set up together

E-commerce platforms with catalog, cart, checkout, and payment gateway integration

Performance work so pages load fast and hold up under real traffic

Mobile-first responsive design, tested across real screen sizes

SEO fundamentals built in from the start, not bolted on after launch

How We Approach Web App Development

We map the data model before the screens

Most web apps get slow or messy because the data was shaped around the first three screens. We work out what you're actually storing first.

We build the frontend and backend together

No handoff gap between a design team and an engineering team reinterpreting it. The people designing the flow are the people wiring it up.

We load-test before launch, not after

Traffic spikes are predictable, a campaign, a season, a launch. We check the app holds up under them while there's still time to fix it.

We ship with monitoring and rollback ready

You go live knowing what broke, when, and how to get back to the last working version without a panicked evening.

When Web App Development Isn't the Right Call

A web build is a long commitment. If any of these describe your situation, you'll get better value elsewhere.

Web App Development, Common Questions

How long does web app development take?

MVPs typically take 4-8 weeks. Full products range from 2-4 months. We break projects into sprints and deliver working features every 2 weeks, so you see progress continuously.

How much does custom software development cost?

We offer both fixed-price projects (best for well-defined MVPs) and time & materials (better for evolving products). After our discovery call, we'll recommend the model that fits your situation and provide a detailed quote.

How do you handle scope changes during a development project?

Changes are normal! We use agile development, so you can adjust priorities between sprints. Major scope changes might affect timeline and cost, which we'll discuss transparently before proceeding.
